Global engineering simulation company ANSYS Korea (CEO Park Joo-il) announced on the 17th that it hosted its global annual event, “Simulation World Korea 2025.”

Simulation World Korea is the largest simulation conference in the country, inviting domestic and international experts from industry, academia, and research institutions, as well as customers, to share the latest simulation solutions, customer success stories, and technology trends. The event has become a major venue for exchange between ANSYS simulation experts and Korean simulation engineers.

Held under the theme “Empower Innovators to Drive Human Advancement,” the event took place at the Lotte Hotel World in Seoul on October 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and attracted more than 1,400 attendees from various industries.

The morning session began with a welcome speech by CEO Park Joo-il, followed by keynote addresses including Walt Hearn, Vice President of Global Sales and Customer Excellence at ANSYS, who spoke on “Accelerating Innovation through Simulation”; Dr. Lee Sang-ryool of the Korea Aerospace Research Institute, who presented “The Current Status and Future Prospects of Korea’s Space Development”; Lee Yong-woo, Vice President of Samsung Electronics, who discussed “Digital Twin-Based Simulation Applications and Future Outlook”; and Padmesh Mandloi, Vice President of Customer Support for ANSYS Asia, who gave a talk on “Expanding from Silicon to Systems.”

In the afternoon, leading domestic companies including Hyundai Motor Company, Ellitec, Space & Bean, and Uninet showcased their latest technologies. Additionally, the winning team of the “ANSYS Simulation Challenge 2025,” Team SAVE from Sungkyunkwan University, presented research on optimizing ammonia co-firing combustion in thermal power generation.

The conference also featured five simultaneous technical tracks—Electronics, Semiconductors, Mobility, Aerospace & Defense, Industrial Equipment, and Healthcare—providing in-depth sessions on major industry trends and networking opportunities. Separate sessions were also held for the Digital Safety Conference and platform launches.

앤시스코리아, '시뮬레이션 월드 코리아 2025' 개최

글로벌 엔지니어링 시뮬레이션 기업인 앤시스코리아(대표 박주일)는 자사의 글로벌 연례 행사인 ‘시뮬레이션 월드 코리아(Simulation World Korea) 2025’를 개최했다고 17일 밝혔다.

‘시뮬레이션 월드 코리아’는 국내외 산학연 전문가 및 고객을 초청해 최신 시뮬레이션 솔루션, 고객 사례, 기술 트렌드를 공유하는 국내 최대 규모의 시뮬레이션 컨퍼런스로, 앤시스 시뮬레이션 전문가와 국내 시뮬레이션 공학자 간 교류의 장으로 자리매김하고 있다.

이번 행사는 ‘더 나은 미래를 위한 역량 강화(Empower Innovators to Drive Human Advancement)’를 주제로, 지난 16일 오전 9시 30분부터 오후 6시까지 서울 롯데호텔월드에서 진행됐다. 현장에는 1,400여 명의 다양한 산업 분야 고객과 업계 관계자가 참석했다.

오전 세션은 박주일 대표의 환영사를 시작으로 앤시스 글로벌 세일즈 및 고객 담당 부사장 월트 헌(Walt Hearn)의 ‘시뮬레이션을 통한 더 빠른 혁신’, 한국항공우주연구원 이상률 박사의 ‘대한민국 우주개발 현황과 미래 전망’, 삼성전자의 이용우 부사장의 ‘디지털 트윈 기반 시뮬레이션 적용 현황 및 전망’, 앤시스 아시아 고객 지원 부문 부사장 패드메쉬 맨돌로이(Padmesh Mandloi)의 ‘실리콘에서 시스템으로 확장되는 미래’ 등 주요 기조연설로 구성됐다.

이어 현대자동차, 엘리텍, 스페이스앤빈, 유니넷 등 국내 주요 기업들의 최신 기술 발표가 이어졌으며, 대학생·대학원생을 대상으로 한 ‘앤시스 시뮬레이션 챌린지 2025’ 대상 수상팀인 성공관대 SAVE팀이 화력발전 암모니아 혼소 최적 연소 방안 연구를 발표했다.

오후에는 전자, 반도체, 모빌리티, 항공우주·방위 및 우주, 산업기계·헬스케어 등 5개 트랙이 동시에 진행돼 업계 주요 이슈와 기술 동향에 대한 정보 공유와 네트워킹이 이루어졌다. 이와 함께 디지털 세이프티 컨퍼런스 및 플랫폼 론칭 부문도 별도로 운영됐다.
